Q: What is an online research panel?
A: An online research panel is a community of individuals, with similar interests and experiences, who have voluntarily chosen to participate in online research studies about various topics related to their common interests.

Q: What is the My Voice for Dell panel?
A: My Voice for Dell is a community of people from around the country with whom you can share your opinions and ideas about technology products, services, and marketing that Dell may offer.

Q: How many surveys do I have to complete?
A: We encourage participation in as many surveys and discussions as you are invited to take. In order to be considered an active member of the My Voice for Dell panel we ask that you participate in at least three panel studies per year.

Q: How do I complete a survey?
A: You will be e-mailed a unique URL address for each survey. Simply click on that URL or cut and paste it into a web browser of your choice and complete the survey form online. Or, you can also access your surveys when you log in to the My Voice for Dell website (the URL for each survey appears under the section, “Take a survey”). Survey length is closely controlled to minimize the use of your time.

Q: How long will I have to complete each survey?
A: You will typically have anywhere from 48 hours to one week to complete each survey.

Q: How do I see if there are any new surveys that I can take?
A: Once you’re logged into the My Voice for Dell website, you can find all surveys that are available and ready for you to take under the section, “Take a survey”.

Q: How do I change my email address or password?
A: Once you’re logged into the My Voice for Dell website, you can edit your profile information by clicking “Update user info” at the top of page. Here you can update your email address and/or your password.

Q: What information is required to become a panel member?
A: A brief member profile is the only information required for joining the panel. Your member profile will include basic contact information and vital data – e.g., gender, age, etc. Panel members who wish to participate in other programs such as focus groups or other special events may be asked to provide additional information.

Q: Will my profile information be sold to other companies?
A: The My Voice for Dell panel profile information is not sold or distributed to any company. All information is strictly confidential and privacy is guaranteed. Your name will never be sold, exchanged, or distributed to any other party without your express acknowledgement.

Q: How do members receive information about the survey topics they complete?
A: Certain study results will be available to all panel members via our newsletter.

Q: How long will I remain on the panel?
A: You may remain on the panel as long as you choose to participate in at least three surveys per year. Members may remove themselves from the panel.

Q: I’ve decided I’d like to quit receiving surveys and discussions from My Voice for Dell. How do I cancel my membership?
A: We’re sorry to hear that! Once you’re logged into the My Voice for Dell website click “Update user info” at the top of page. There you can click on a button that says “Unsubscribe” which will remove you from our community and you will not receive any new invitations or communications from My Voice for Dell.
